In this role, you will provide support to the sales team, offering an in-depth knowledge of the business use of our products to close sales opportunities. You will develop, build, and lead custom presentations and demonstrations that will enhance the sales process and meet the customer’s expectations.

As a member of our team, your tasks will include:

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our business and value proposition
  • Support the sales team in their sales campaigns by helping to demonstrate the best solution for the client’s needs and Biscit’s value proposition
  • Facilitate & host discovery sessions, workshops, webinars to uncover business needs and motivators including documenting the output.
  • Provide business expertise by documenting processes and providing workflow analysis, in areas such as Manufacturing.
  • Assist with proposals and tender responses
  • Work with the consulting team to ensure the project is correctly scoped and is handed over seamlessly.
  • Act as product expert in liaisons between the sales team and the customer
  • Collaborate on strategy with Biscit resources & Epicor
  • Competitor analysis assistance

Highly desired competencies for this role include:

  • Excellent listener
  • Previous experience presenting software to customers or stakeholders (ERP presales consulting experience an advantage)
  • Good understanding of manufacturing
  • Sound knowledge/experience of other ERP business systems

Our development delivery teams run SCRUM and we work with Quality Assurance and Business Analysts to make sure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers.

What will you be doing

  • Help grow and improve our flagship app which is used by more than 600 customers worldwide with approximately 8000 users.
  • Help build and maintain our growing portfolio of bespoke apps and integrations.
  • Mentoring and guidance of other team members.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, SME’s and Quality assurance professionals to achieve the best outcome of all work.
  • Be part of transforming us into a true product team with centralised access for our customers to all our products and solutions.

Key Skills Required

  • At least 5 years experience in one of the following, and willingness to learn the other
    • Angular typescript experience  
    • .NET (especially .NET core) ideally with experience with Azure functions
  • Ability to work in
    • an Agile Team running SCRUM.
    • Working in a highly collaborative environment and bringing your skills to the table to uplift and upskill the whole team.
  • A Bachelors degree in IT or a relevant degree OR more than 8 years experience in IT

Additional Skills that would be an advantage

  • Experience doing integrations between various backend systems via API and other methods.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Azure Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Experience with Cordova.

Our Team Culture

While we currently are mostly working from home, the team is eager to get back to the office. Morning coffee runs, Friday afternoon drinks and occasional lunches at the pub across the road are all part of working at Biscit. We also like to play in the 5 a side soccer league around the corner from the office when COVID allows.

You will be working in one of our delivery teams. The teams are kept small (no more than 4 developers) intentionally to maximise collaboration. Both project work and smaller pieces of work is assigned to these teams to complete.

  • Providing advice on industry ‘best practice’ while taking into account a Client’s specific requirements
  • Preparing quality, comprehensive Design Documentation for proposed solutions
  • Implementing & delivering systems based on above
  • Quality analysis on solutions
  • Troubleshooting systems for/ with Clients
  • Provide formal and informal training for Clients
  • Work effectively in a team to achieve common goals
  • Actively participate in daily and adhoc team meetings
  • Engage in continuous education at a technical and industry level
